You might know that in the catholic tradition, relics are touched. But did you know that objects are actually touched to relics ?
In my painting, the touch itself becomes the holy subject. As you might notice, I have used my left hand, the fractured one and the reason I paint, in the same way as in the prehistoric Lascaux cave in France and Cueva de las Manos (“Cave of the Hands”) in Argentina.
